Our sales reps are independent contractors, and basically run their own businesses using the home office as a source for research, catalogs and samples, as well as placing their orders through us. We handle all of the details of the order, invoicing the customer and paying the suppliers for the goods shipped. We also handle collections, monthly statements, and troubleshoot any customer concerns or problems and variances in costs and selling prices on orders.
Who we're looking for
The role of the salesperson is to sell their services and expertise and those of the company as well as specific products and to represent the company locally. Your goal is to create orders by offering ideas on how to use products and the imprints on them to promote a company's business or image or to motivate employees. Often products will be used to introduce a new business or new product, advertise a new location, make an announcement of some type, or be an incentive to buy a product or service.
